Reminiscence is a symbolic body of work centered around the recollection of past events and experiences, as well as emotional connections to them. Specific recollections of painful events in my life were what I chose to confront, such as the loss of loved ones, which has been a recurring theme in recent works. In thinking of the memories that continuously resurface in my mind, I find myself torn with whether I should simply let them linger, hold on tightly, or release them, in hopes that the pain from grieving will one day subside.

These photographs were constructed into a series of five, and are printed sized 16×20 inches.
